I've already asked this question on the Ageless
thread on the Products Review Forum, but have not had a reply (probably because it's the wrong forum) lol.
Here goes:- Many of the Ormus products, as recommended by Jasmine, contain powdered gold.
I thought it was decided many years ago that gold is bad for the human body when taken internally, which is why it's no longer injected into arthritis patients.
Does anyone know anything more about this?
TIA |

I have no idea, but I found this for you regarding the Ormus stuff:
Should Ormus Gold be taken internally?
Since the skin is a very effective and proven pathway of absorption, it is the recommended means for administration. We at Ormus Gold employ the highest standards of cleanliness and purity in the production of our products.

And this from Livestrong: http://www.livestrong.com/article/258442-colloidal-gold-benefits/
Colloidal gold consists of minute gold particles suspended in a solution, usually water. The mixture may be taken internally and may treat a number of conditions. However, since gold is a heavy metal and colloidal gold preparations are not regulated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, or FDA, you should discuss any plans for taking colloidal gold with your doctor before you begin trying colloidal gold or any supplement containing heavy metal.

I don't know about colloidal gold, but have heard several horror stories about colloidal silver. Google and will find.
What exactly is it supposed to do anyway? I wasn't aware that gold was an essential element in our food intake?
Gold injections against arthritis is one thing (though they have severe side effects) but taking drugs without an illness that makes them necessary doesn't sound reasonable to me anyway. |

I used to take Colloidal Gold a few years ago and I found it amazing! I loved the heightened senses I had when I took - like especially right after taking it - my Crown chakra would become very stimulated, almost like an intense caffeine hit without the negative effects. I would also apply it to my face like a toner and I always got the most amazing compliments when I did this.
I've really got to get back onto taking it. I only stopped as it gets quite expensive and the bottles available here in Australia are quite small - but I think now that if it works wonders then it is worth every penny |
