Hi everyone
I’ve seen some ads on the net for creams and sprays that claim they can permanently remove unwanted hair if you keep using them.
Has anyone tried these out? What were the results? Do these things really work? and if they work then why do people still go in for expensive and painful laser hair removal? |

I don't see how this can possibly work. I think they key phrase is "if you keep using them". |

It seemed too good to be true but there seem to be a variety of different sprays like Pufit and others advertised and the west is always ahead of India, so I figured, yes they’ve finally invented this too.
I can get full body laser hair removal with a lifetime guarantee, ie if it grows back they will always give me free sessions. All this for 125 thousand rupees.
This is less than 2˝ thousand dollars. Is it worth it? I think this is way, way less than what one would spend in the US.
Or should I instead order one of those home laser machines they sell in the US? That would be I think only about 25,000 or so rupees. Or at most 50,000. Still less that half of what it would cost at the salon. but are these home machines effective? |

Why don't you just purchase an epilator? It's cheap, quick and safe to use. No need to apply chemicals and risk them being absorbed or becoming sensitised. |

I couldn't get an epilator to ever work for me, my hair is super tough. Lot of yankIng and pain, not a lot of hair removal. I eventually had it all lasered off, best thing I ever bought myself. Had I known it was so cheap and easy I'd have done it years ago, I'm kind of a gorilla. ![Laughing](images/smiles/lol.gif) |

Wow really?? I imagine my leg hair is not that strongly rooted as they had been waxed many times but my armpits ... bled when waxed and first couple of times epilating. Waaaay more painful than bikini!! Tried IPL on the bikini area and it did nothing unfortunately. |

So did you go to a clinic or did you buy a home machine? I want to know if the home machines are ass effective as the clinic ones.
Epilators are painful. I’m looking for permanent solutions. Of course the laser is painful too; I had a couple of sessions on my underarms. very painful. |

I went to a clinic. I actually purchased a groupon because I'm cheap. It was 99 for six armpit sessions. I had two sessions and I'd say the hair was reduced by about 75 percent. The rest of the sessions weren't as dramatic, I did need the full six. The place I did it at honored the groupon price for my other body parts- 200 legs, 100 bikini. Pain wasn't bad, it's like a rubber band snapping. My guess is that it's a lot more painful for less ideal candidates. I have jet black thick hair and my skin is chalk white. |

how long ago did you get your hair lasered off and did any come back?
I see your signature says your smile lines are being erased. Would you mind sharing what you are doing for them? And do you mean the lines around your mouth or eyes? Thanks. |
