Watching her on Youtube really makes wonder if she using botox, fillers and mabye even had a facelift?

She seems unable to move her forehead and her nasio labio folds looks like they had some filler in them.

I really hope not since I just bought her book Question

Crying or Very sad I have the book too. And only saw Carole Maggio on youtube later. Had I seen her on youtube first, I wouldn't have bothered with the book.

I looked at photos of her over the years. I noticed that somewhere between age 56-57 and 62-63, it looks like she had cheek implants:

But that's the only thing that I can pick out as really looking like it might be due to a cosmetic procedure.

I'd say definitely cheek implants, the lips look like they've been done too.

When she's talking about "sleepy eye" in the video, she squints - but her forehead is set in concrete. So I'd say Botox too.

This is the first time I've ever seen her - to me, she looks very "done", not natural at all.

I don't think she's had surgery, but her look is unique to me. I wouldn't say its very feminine but I do think her face is quite artisticly shapped but I think she's done it via using topicals and exercises alone. I've a friend who bought the new dvd when it came out and followed a tip in her newsletter and she now has these beautiful ful lips that are remarkable and she's only done that exercise and followed the tips in the newsletter but a friend of hers who she ran into said she thought she had the best lip fillers ever. She hadn't so I figure its worth throwing this out there. I do think Carole Maggio is doing more for facial exercises than anyone else I've seen so far in the tv appearances etc.

I bought her book last year, also before seeing her 'in the flesh', and since then I have not done ANY of her exercises. She just does not seem 'real' to me at all.

Also, the 'before and after' photos look staged/photo-shopped - page 34, Princess looks like her hair has not moved at all in seven days, her fringe is the only change I can see. Also on page 38, Jackie's hair is in almost the exact place it was in seven days previously. Now, my hair NEVER looks the same from one day to the next!

Nit-picking here, sorry, but CM and her program are just not believable to me, too much visualisation.

Ok, so I'm intrigued - how can an exercise fill the lips with fat/collagen?

I don't know if it fills them with collagen, but it seems to pump up the lips (maybe because the blood flow is increased - guessing here don't know for fact). Yet when I tried the same exercise it did nada for me, and I've kept trying it several times since. I think Sis on here also noticed changes in her lip size from doing the latest exercise.

I can't see how blood can possibly be a permanent lip plumper.

I don't think its permanent, if she doesn't do the exercises she doesn't have those results. I don't know - it didn't work for me, but I know others who have said they have fuller lips from doing the latest exercise. It may very well be due to something else, I'm just guessing its blood. I'm not a scientist or doctor so am guessing.

her facial contours are like that of a mannequin with not even a milimeter of a jowl and she is in her 60s!!! If it's not cosmetic surgery/procedures, her programm gets 1000/10 from me...

One of Carole's lip exercises in particular is terrific for the way it "sets' and allows you to hold your lips. It temporarily keeps them from sliding inward and downward (hope that makes sense). It produces a pout effect - boosts the filtrum and does give a lush - somewhat collagen-induced effect some might say. Her lip and nose exercises rock. I do several of them off and on. She has done a great job with putting together a simple-to-use and effective facial exercising program. For those of you who have it I would not hesitate.

Luckily I could still cancel my purchase of her book. Even if she didnt have any surgery, botox og fillers (which Im pretty convinced she has) I dont want to look like she does...My friends might think I have had botox, fillers and a facelift Laughing

Ive got to say her current appearance looks highly suspect, especially compared to her age 57 photo which showed a different muscle structure when she smiled. At 57 she looked like a good advertisement for her regime. Currently she looks very implausible. If that is the result of facial exercise alone then why isnt she the subject of research or at the very least a lot more famous than she is?

Sidmo there's never any guarantee with any program out there that you'll end up looking like the program creator. Lets not forget that Maggio is one of the first to openly speak and write about bioidentical hormones etc which can have such a huge impact on not only women's general wellbeing but also their appearance too. Likewise she talks about diet and skincare which all add up to the reasons I think she does look good (and for what its worth I'm not convinced that she's had surgery).

Oh come on Sean, hormones can do a lot for a woman but they don't do bioidentical facelifts or fillers.
