Hello,
I had a Juvederm injection almost 15 months ago with someone, as it turns out, might not have been the best of injectors.
Anyway, all I was asking for was some filler for a couple of sleep lines near my nose, but she decided to use a full tube (I guess to get my moneys worth) and used it in a number of places around the eyes.
It really seems like she used way too much as there are still lumps on the bottom outside corner of both orbital areas, and a lump under the orbital area of my right eye.
I read in a few places that it takes a year for these to fade, but they're still there now. I'm fairly certain it's still Juvederm as the lumps appear to have a blue-ish look in certain lights.
This is really starting to bum me out and I'm wondering if they'll ever go away. I don't want to go back to the same person to get them dissolved as their was some bruising last time.
I guess I'm after a little reassurance that this will eventually get better. Could anyone help me here?
Thanks |

I have two tiny lumps from resty at my lip line and one from juvederm on my nasolabial, both are over 3 years old, the resty at 4-5.
I tend to keloid around injection areas sometimes, so mine is more scar tissue related.
They are not huge, but barely noticable (except to me). Not sure if they will ever dissolve but still hopeful! |

Geez, I didn't think Juvaderm would last that long? I know it does last a while in some people, up to 18 months myself, but I have only ever had a tiny lump in my lip that can't be seen but I can feel it.
I hope it goes soon, I wouldn't try getting dissolved as I heard that can cause more problems than its worth! |

Hi
I heard a lot about Juvederm and what it can do to make your lines go away a little bit.
Surprise that this is not as good as what is advertised. I guess I have to stick on mudpack on my face and forget about the Juvederm!

I love juvaderm and will do it again, the lumps are just a by product of my skin reaction. I keloid on scars quite often, just never know. But even the thought of that won't prevent me from using this again. Very long lasting, durable, binds well to your own collagen, very natural. I will pick it over resty any day. The bumps were so minor, I would take them over not having it done! |

Just wanted to add that I love Juvaderm too and have been lucky not to have had any major problems. I actually had Perlane last time and I am really liking that too!! |
