| I have tried wart mole vanish. I had two moles on my face. One at my inner eye at the start of my eyebrow. The other on the right side of my face at chin. I had them for years as long as I can recall in fact,..over the last few years they had become huge, about the size of a pencil eraser. I refused to have pictures of myself and I was always aware of them around others. Heck the one at my eyebrow I could see just by looking up. They embarrassed me and really effected the way I lived. I bought wart mole vanish after purchasing ano0ther brand that did nothing prior to it. I had decided to give it a try because it said one application. I figured well it's worth a shot. I applied it, they turned white then black. I wore little circle bandaids for a few days and then,...THEY WERE GONE!!!!!! They had scabbed, then they came off,..the new skin was tender and pinkish for a bit of time,..but,..THEY WERE GONE!!!! I told my mom, who is a nurse about this stuff,..and she said impossible!! there is no mole removal you can do at home,..when I showed her she was even as shocked as I. I can only say if you have a mole or wart you think is impossible to get rid of,... get this stuff!!! |

Hm. I looked at the link you posted, Penny, and there was someone who was likely affiliated with the company posting about a bajillion times on there, shilling like crazy. I wonder if this person found the EDS forums? *ahem* Someone who joined just yesterday and has made only 1 post so far?
Anyway, I googled the ingredients list and it's not too impressive. It's Greater Celandine (this is very alkaline and toxic apparently, and can cause contact dermatitis); fig; cashew; citrus lemon, talc and deionized water.
You might as well put battery acid or pure lye on your warts and moles. AND it's expensive. AND I don't exactly get a good feeling by looking at their cheapo website. Better to get that sort of thing treated by a dermatologist. |

I've never tried any of these, just because, it is impossible for that to work.. I have to have mine burned or frozen off.. LOTS of experience there...LOL
What I have heard, but never tried, is Castor Oil will do it, but it takes several weeks.. I did try to do it, but that only lasted a few days.. Then I just got tired of the hassel.. But from all I've read about it, it will work..
I'd LOVE to know if anyone on the board has tried this, and with what results..
Other than that, I have no suggestions... Except, don't waste your money on the above mentioned products... |

Castor oil? Like rub it onto the wart/mole? Do you know how that works? (Am interested since I sometimes do the OCM) |

Ha I bought the stuff. I feel so ashamed to admit that, being an occasionaly poster on this forum.
It kind of worked actually.
I tested it first on a mole that was smack dab on the middle of my foot. I figured that would be wisest place to test it because it's not that noticable. Plus my feet are nasty anyway. I'm outdoorsy!
So, I put on a dot, just enough to cover it. Nowhere else. I had to do it really carefully so it didn't touch any of my other skin.
It burned like crazy and I wiped it off within like ten seconds. BUT! IT CAME OFF! Immediately after, I was thinking, "why the %$#@ did I do that". It scabbed and everything, but it didn't naturally fall off because of the rubbing of my shoes. But I have a feeling that if I would have applied Neosporin diligently and a band-aid and did that often, I probably wouldn't have a mark.
I'm a sucker for quick fixes that I know are probably bad ideas. So I'll probably buy this again. Hehe, or maybe just go to the derm.
But I'm just giving you my honest experience with it. |

Nijey.. Sorry I took so long in replying.. Been very busy the past couple days.. I googled to find the right directions, cuz I wasn't sure I remembered correctly.. I found this whole page of remedies that supposedly work for warts and moles.. I can't say one way or the other, but here's the page... http://www.otan.dni.us/webfarm/emailproject/warts.htm
I did notice that the posted mole removal w/castor oil has you mix it w/ baking soda, I think.. What I had read was just the oil, then keep covered and it would take a few weeks, but it would come off.. Like I said, I tried, but didn't follow thru..
It was interesting reading some of these home remedies tho...
Wish I could be of more help... If you try any of them, please post your results... If they work, maybe it'd be the kick I need to keep it up...LOL |

i ordered this stuff about 3 weeks ago. i have these mole like things under my eyes (can't remember technical name). the cream said do only a few at a time, so i did and then used the rest on 3 other rather large moles i had...one on chest, 2 on back. the one on chest turned super black and shriveled up almost immediately...the back ones were harder to get at, so i don't think i got as much cream on them, but seem to be almost all the way gone too now. as far as scarring...too soon to tell. like any scab, takes awhile for the pink skin to go back to normal...looks kind of like an acne pock mark now, but MUCH better than big, bulbousy mole.
The reason I actually came across this forum is because i was trying to see if similar products were sold anywhere...this stuff is liquid gold. half a ml for $89.00. and you have to pretty much use it all right away because it starts drying up.
I noticed the post about the simple ingrediants...i had researched that too. it seems like the main ingrediant, cashew oil, a folk remedy for moles and warts, might actually be whats doing the job (that's just my guess...anyones thoughts on that??) thought about just buying some of that, online for $30 for 5ml and seeing what it does.
For what it's worth...was very happy with the product....but it is expensive for what you get. |

| I used this product well over a year ago for 2 moles on my face I'd had since I can remember. The product essentially burns off the skin and then scabs and heals. The good thing is the moles are definitely gone. The bad news is that both of them healed leaving flat white marks as scars. I'm very fair so it's not terribly noticable, but they are definitely there. I'm glad the surface of my skin is no longer raised, but I'm not crazy about the white marks left over either. Another new mole is cropping up and I'm honestly not sure if I'm going to use the product again. Good luck with your decision. |

I only know of some products sold at chemist that are supposed to "freeze" warts at the core. A popular one is called "Wartner"...but I'm not sure about moles though.  |

| Please do not fool around with such products. If you have a mole that needs removal have a doctor do it. What if the mole is malignant? Very dangerous DIY. |

I had once asked my doctor if there was any home remedy that would remove moles and he said no. I think moles can only be removed through surgery although I heard that lavender oil worked as well. I'm not sure if I trust this product though. I wouldn't want to leave a scar on my face.
I think it's safest if you have the mole removed by the doctor. |

I would not use anything caustic on a mole. There are acid treatments for removing warts.
I removed a large mole (after the MD said it was not dangerous) using copper peptides. It took over 3 months but there is no scar. |

sharky, what exactly did you use? did you apply it every day?
I have a mole in the same zone of my stretchmarks.. so it's been subject to supercop and glycolic acid daily for months and months and hasnt changed...  |

This stuff WORKS like magic. I bought some from China before it was very available and it stings a bit but you only use it once on any mole. Let me tell you, it works on red moles, raised moles and flat ones. I know cause I used it on all of them. I have only white smooth dots where the moles used to be.
I was sooo skeptical too but it does work. How can I convince you? If someone will tell me how to put a pic on here, I'll put one of the largest mole I got rid of.
I'd tried the Bloodroot paste and it worked but was extremely painful with pus and inflammation. This wartand mole cream is truly wonderful!
No, I'm not affiliated with them in any way. Just a normal person who doesn't like doctors and would rather do things myself. |
