Paula has recently launched a new antioxidant serum that contains retinol and a nice blend of anti-irritants.

Hi, I received the new Paula's Choice retinol serum today and used it for the first time this evening. All my wrinkles went away with the first application. (LOL just kidding!)
It is a clear serum, similar in texture to her RESIST serum, but just a little bit lighter feeling in my opinion. It has good slip so a little bit goes a long way, but since it was my first application I know I applied more than necessary. I have extremely sensitive skin and freakishly sensitive eyes and did not have any type of initial sensitizing reaction. My skin feels soft and smooth and it did calm down some redness I had from a breakout. I can't wait to see some long term benefits.
SECOND DAY UPDATE: This product is a definite winner and I am looking forward to seeing the long term results. I believe I will be able to use it every evening, but extremely sensitive skin might want to play with every other evening. For me the true test of a retinol product is that it helps even skin tone by helping to remove past breakout marks. I had two spots on my face from recent breakouts. They were dried pink spots that I've had for over a week. After using the serum for the first time last evening, when I woke up this morning both spots peeled off leaving a much lighter and smoother mark behind, but the rest of my face was not a peeling mess. This serum also absorbs much better than her other serums, for those that have this concern.
FOURTH DAY UPDATE: This is a great product so far. It really does work and I can't wait to see the long term results. I can see that my complexion is evening out because pink marks from past breakouts are peeling off and some of the unevenness from sun exposure (even with sunscreen) is fading. Some of the dead dry skin has been peeling a little bit, but my face is not dry and flaky. I will probably need to switch to every other day, or use two days and then skip an evening so that I don't get too much exfoliation. Definitely a great product!
