As I have been reading this forum a few people have been talking about facial exercises.
I would like to know some facial exercises because it looks like it's better in the long run. Do other people agree with this?
Does it work for everyone or just some people?

Thanks

tan155 One man's food is another man's poison.

Just like everything else in life (be it a lotion, an eye cream, a medicine), one program may work for one but not for another...and so the answer you get to this question depends on whom you ask.

If you ask all the people who were so pleased as to share their results on before/after pages of face exercise program websites, they will tell you the programs they use work. I personally have done face exercises for 20+ years and I don't use any other anti-aging product (unless you count trying to eat well), and for me, they work so well that I'm not even interested in any anti-aging products that seem to be flying off the shelves. I just posted this photo in another thread:

What do you YOU think looking at it? Do face exercises work?

You can see this same lady in this clip, and she's 65 and has never had surgery.

I share images of other long time face exercisers in this post.

This is tough for me to answer. I did flex effect for over 6 months and I think it made me look more gaunt. However, I've seen others who it works for. I think the only way to know for sure if it works for you is too try it! It's one of those "nothing ventured, nothing gained" situations. It's cheap (free in some cases) to try.

Been doing CFF for 11 months and I never had any problems. I had tried ageless but it did not agree with me.
I agree with Nonie, I don't buy into the skin care hype and gadgets. I use a little Egyptian Magic, use Devita sunscreen and do a weekly moor mud mask. I do the ocm when I do my routine. I sometimes cleanse my face with leftover oatmeal usually I just use a wash cloth and water.

I agree with dickymoe and Nonie.

Carolyn (CFF) has become my collaborator in fighting the dreaded sag! I started with Ageless, tried FlexEffect and then bought CFF and I am happy to say that I now have a program that meets my facial exercise needs completely Image

Ha ha, I started with Facial Magic, used Eva Fraser, did CFF, and Ageless and now use FlexEffect which meets all my needs.

I did Carole Maggio's Facercise on and off for years, then tried FlexEffect, Ageless, a cheekbuilding program (can't remember the name off the top of my head), The Facial Workout by Tal Reinhart, and Tonya Zavasta's Rawesome Flex. Each one has a different approach and emphasis. I like FlexEffect best, as it's the most comprehensive program on the market and on average, I find its exercises better at restoring fullness to the face than those of the other programs I tried. I think that whatever you do must be tailored to your own face, and a lack of tailoring explains many of the problems that people run into. Btw, I had the opposite experience as ShastaGirl, in that my face was very gaunt to begin with and FlexEffect only helped. But we all have different issues and different resolutions to our issues. But facial exercises + massage are the two (not diet-related) best things I've EVER done for my face. Pretty much everything else I've done seems to deliver much smaller results. Just my experience Smile

Are there any better resolution photos of Carolyn's face straight-on like that? I just feel that the blurriness of the "after" photo doesn't do her justice and obscures some of the improvements.

Did you click on the link to clip? I don't think there's anything wrong with the clarity of that video. And you can blow it up to look at her. (But I suppose you don't seen enough of a frontal view... Think except for the very end.)

There's the video of her TV interview on Youtube which can be viewed in full screen and you can see her face again: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aFO1gGNt3Gg

I think she's absolutely beautiful and can't look at her vids without breaking out into a big grin. I do think she looks way better than I do and I'm over 20 years younger then her. Surprised But she has more miles into her program than I (I'm only 5 years old in CFF years), so I still have hope and time to catch up. Very Happy

Yeah, I've looked at that video...and always wished it had higher resolution and better lighting.

The quasi-profile pictures (where her head is roughly a 3/4 turn) look great and are at higher resolution and are better light.

Just curious if there was such a photo. You can see generally that Carolyn looks better, but it's hard to make out some of the improvements.

Oh, yes, the TV interview video has better resolution. But it would be nice to have a photo or still with higher resolution, if possible. I think it would be easier to see the improvements better--just my two cents Smile But really, it's just an aside from the main discussion...didn't mean to throw things off track.

I don't know if there is such a photo, but I believe Carolyn is a member of this forum so hopefully she will see your post and consider making her next updated photo a good resolution frontal view one. I'd love to see that too!

I would really like to see such a photo too, and whats more I'd like to see close ups. I do think Carolyn is very pretty, but from the interview and dvd clip, it always looks to me like she is wearing makeup and the place this was really hit home to me was on Carole Maggio's NLL dvd, as her face looks dramatically different and its the makeup that has the most effect becauase its used to camoflauge things. I'm not suggesting thats what Carolyn does, but it has to be taken into account when reviewing photos.

Whereas I know you said Nonie about Deb's photos in the past of only sections being dubious, I for one was actually pleased by them because it allowed you to see her skin up close and to see that there was no lines, or wrinkles. That to me is really important.
