I've been a long time user of La Mer's classic creme but recently (about three-four days now) I switched to using ProDerm's Regenerating cream. So far I did not break out from the Regenerating cream, so I'm quite happy with it (not to mention the price difference!), however, I feel like it's a huge downgrade from La Mer. I know it's a mental thing and that a lot of the high-end products are just all hype but I do believe that you pay for what you get. Anyway, so I'm wondering if anyone has ever tried using Rodial's Glamtox Night cream. If so, would you recommend it to someone with acne prone and slightly oily skin? The main reason I wanted to try something new is b/c I've read from many, many websites/forums that the La Mer creme does not have anti-aging ingredients, and recently, I've been noticing more and more fine lines on my face -- time for an update on the skin regime! |

I'm unfamiliar with Glamtox so can't be of any help with that, but since you mentioned fine lines, have you tried using Retin-A or a retinol product to address those?
I only recently started using the La Mer creme and love that it hydrates my skin like nothing else I've ever had, but I'd not part with my other products like Retin-A and Vitamin C serum. They all work together.
I use a mix of high- and low-end items; it just depends on what works best. |
