I would like to know what type of perservatives people are using in their homemade lotions. I'm looking for types of perservatives that are also healthy for the skin.
Thanks |

I have heard of honey being used due to its antibacterial properties. But usually, honey is used in combination with some other preservatives, though, I think. |

How did you decide on that one, Keliu? Thanks! |

I did look into it - and it seemed to me to be the most "benign" preservative around.

I only use it in my Niacinamide serum - which only needs a couple of drops, so it lasts forever.
Note: There is Optiphen and Otiphen Plus - I use the Optiphen Plus. |
