I've been using the two products from about 2 weeks now. First I'll review the concealer.
The good:
-Natural ingredients list, few ingredients
The bad:
-Very limited colour range, the lightest colour was too dark for me
-Very light coverage, hindered further by having to really "blend" it to match my skin colour which just about cancelled out any coverage it had in the first place
-Won't cover redness, scars even a little
-You can't really use it as a foundation because it doesn't blend well, leaves pigment blotches.
-Very oily product - BUT if you have dry skin, you really have to moisturize your skin, otherwise it won't spread
Conclusion: 1/5 stars. I was excited to read so many glowing reviews about it, since I figured I could cut down my make-up routine to these two pots + mascara, but alas it was not meant to be.
I'd say any one with medium skin colour can possibly look into this, and only if they have near perfect skin to begin with. Also: this pot is similar in size to most concealer, but it does get used up fairly quick which doesn't make it very cost-effective.
Living Luminizer
The good:
-Natural ingredients
-Very nice, spreadable subtle glow - this is easier to blend than most highlighters, which
go on like a nail polish and dry in an obvious streak (Benefit High Beam).
-this is just as "rich" textured as the concealer but since you're not putting it all over your face, it doesn't make skin feel as greasy. I use it under my eyebrows, under my eyes, along the bridge of my nose, and on my cupid's bow.
Conclusion: 3.5/5 stars. This is a good product. And it has natural ingredients. It's not a HG for me, but if you're looking for a natural highlighter, this is definitely something to consider. In terms of usage, this product is more cost-effective. I've been using it almost everyday, and I've only made a tiny dent in it. |

I considered the concealer and glad I didn't take the leap. You are right it does have good reveiws . Makes you wonder, doesn't it?
The luminizer I did get and It's okay - not a favorite but hey it works. |

I actually use concealer and love it.
I have combo/oily skin and use it as a foundation and under-eye and eye shadow base.
As an eye shadow base it does not work too well - creases, but for the rest - it is excellent. The lightest color is an excellent color match for me, and as a foundation I usually use it for special occasions - if we to go out at the end of a long hard day, etc. I apply it right on top of whatever is left on my face(which is close to nothing), spread it, then apply RMS blush - and have the most restful beautiful skin until I wash it off.
For under-eye area - I use it daily and love it )cover lack of sleep, 16 hours work days, etc.).
As a foundation it does not give me that "cakey" look, that I hate, nor does it settle into creases. If there is a spot that needs extra attention (pimple, or big red mark - I have very reactive skin) I apply tiny bit of mineral powder on top just at the spot.
I found Bare Minerals gives me a flawless skin as well, but is a bit too heavy for my skin. I am currently waiting for Zuii Organic powder foundation, and hope it would be a good alternative for every day use.

I use this concealer too and also love it. (My review on it ).
That's always a bummer when something doesn't work out, onmyboat. Hopefully the next one you try will be a good fit!
Very interested to hear how you make out with the Zuii powder foundation, sigma. It's been on my list to try... |

Hey, glad it works for you, guys! This is a recurring theme in my make-up search - colours being too dark for me. Plus it's probably that my skin is not yet in the condition where I can just dab on some concealer and be set.
I was debating whether or not to start a separate thread on it but I don't think I will - I also tried Zoimos Concealer in Antique Lace (lightest shade). This was a 0/5 for me, as it didn't show up on my skin at all. Seriously, it's a white colour in the pot but once you start applying it, it turns into a transparent gel/cream. Thankfully they have a sampler program so I'm only out $3. |
