I have recently started diy with great success thanks to this forum, and I am now starting to experiment. I want to add powdered marshmallow root to my moisturiser but can't find the suggested % to add anywhere. Has anyone ever used this before and what percentage have you had success with? |

I'm no expert, but I'd come across something that said 5-10% works well in a cream. I actually wrote it down among some diy notes a long time ago. Its been a long time so I'm not sure if I ever ended up trying it anything else, but I think I've use dried mr as a tea when making hair gel, for slip. |

Yeah, most recipes I saw used the tea. Should have checked it before buying. I'm going to use it as a face mask. Found a recipe using equal parts marshmallow root powder and coca powder, you add water until it forms a paste. The marshmallow root powder is anti-inflammatory and inhibits the enzyme that breaks down H.A (can't spell it) in the skin. Can't remember what the coca powder does, too busy thinking mmmmmmmm marshmallows and chocolate! |
