My 72-year-old mother's hair is thinning out terrible. Let's just say she's about 2-3 years away from really needing to wear a wig. But before going that route, I told her I'd do some research about hair transplants and laser hair treatments for women.
I'm not even sure she'd qualify because of her age and amount of thinning and don't want to waste her time to go in for a consultaion if they wouldn't even consider her.
The picture below is NOT my mother, but my mother's hair loss looks very similar to this woman's, just with a shorter hair cut.
Could you all give me some advise on what she can do to permanently solve this problem? She doesn't want to do Rogaine because she tried that and either it didn't work or was too messy for her. Any advice would be greatly appreciatied. |

Bumping this up in hopes that someone that could help me with this problem for my mother maybe had missed this thread.
Please, even if you don't have this problem, if you know someone who did and got either a hair transplant or laser treatment that actually worked for them, could you please let me know? My mom is pretty desperate to find an answer. |
