Are there side effects using Tanda Luxe photofacial device with prolonged use?
How long do you have to use it in order to see results, daily or 1x a week?
Do you have to use the creams BEFORE or AFTER using Tanda Luxe? |

I have the Tanda Luxe (red and blue). I used to use the Tanda Professional religiously but I got lazy when I had to wait for my upgrade from Pro to Luxe. (SIDE NOTE: The company that owns Tanda is amazing! Their customer service is superb).
From what I remember, I really liked using the Tanda. Haven't tried Baby Q but I have heard they are better. I put cream on after the Tanda treatment. |

Will you please let me know your results as I am wanting to buy this product. Because it is not cheap and don't want to waste money. I heard good reviews on Baby Quasar too. About TANDA, is it battery-operated or you have to plug it in? My sister is not convinced to buy this product and I am trying to convince her to buy 2pcs. Any problem with operating TANDA?
Do you think it is money well-spent???? Where did you buy TANDA? I know EDS sells this product.....

I am happy with the Tanda. I used to go weekly to a med spa to get the LED treatments with their giant machines and I do notice that if I use my Tanda every day, I do get the same results. The Tanda is has a plug in which can be charged (better for the environment!) and I charge mine once every two-three days, depending on how much I use it. The light bulbs did burn out on me but only after using it everyday for 6 months. It's good that I can just replace the lighthead.
I actually bought my Tanda Pro back in early 2010 (it came with the Blue and the Red light head) and when I had to repurchase the blue light head I learned that they had upgraded their system and that their new light heads do not work with my system. I contacted the company and b/c I was still under the warranty they upgraded my system for free (including postage)! And after receiving my new Pro, I continued to use it religiously cause it really helped my acne, I had to buy another blue light head, which I then learned that they had discontinued the Pro System. I contacted the company again and once again I was still under their warranty and they upgrade me the Luxe (with both light heads) free of charge. A very wonderful company to deal with!
I don't really use the red light since my main problem is taming my acne, but when I do use the red light, my face do look more plump for a bit -- this effect is not long lasting, but it might be because I don't really use it... I use it maybe once every two weeks....
Let me know if you have other questions

Thanks for your response Syndi222
I am more interested in the red light LED as I don't have acne or any pimples in general. Good skin care routine helped in keeping this away from my face.
Anybody used the red light LED????

I'm interested in hearing resonses as well.
I just bought an online coupon to get the Tanda Clear (blue light) for $100 (reg price $195). I have a week before I can redeem the coupon online and I'm wondering if I should add the red light head to my order too?
My main reason for buying the Tanda is to treat acne with less chemicals, but I have bad skin in general like enlarged pores, uneven skin tone, hyperpigmentation, dullness, etc. and I'm wondering if its worth adding the red light in between chemical peels and IPL (which I'll be starting in a couple weeks). I'm 25 so I don't have wrinkles to worry about yet, though I would still like to prevent them since premature aging of the skin is common in my family. |

I hear that Baby Quasar is better than Tanda...
Is this accurate? |

Not sure if this works outside canada, but here is the link for the $100 off a Tanda coupon from Teambuy: http://www.teambuy.ca/saskatoon/28140644/
You use the coupon to buy directly from the TANDA website. I think the device itself is the same price everywhere ($195 CAD), however the Tanda replacement heads are cheaper on their site ($75) than at Sephora ($94). |

I just purchased the Tanda Luxe and the instructions state to use only twice a week (one time each) but I read in the forum that some folks use it daily for the first 30 days and then move on to the twice weekly treatment. Could someoe clarify the usage instructions? |

I spoke with Tanda's customer service dept about usage and Justin (csr rep) said that the Tanda can be used at a maximum of once per day. They recommend starting at twice a week in the beginning to start and usage can be increased as tolerated. So 2x to start, if no adverse reaction increase to 3-4 times weekly. Keep it there a few weeks and if no problems then increase again. Hope this helps. |

So for the past 2 months or so I stopped using the blue light and switched to only using the red light everyday (well, almost everyday; sometimes I forget to) and my skin is way healthier looking (and surprisingly, no new pimple popped up). My skin is now plumping and has a more even tone. I especially am very happy that now when I wash my face, my skin is SMOOTH! I don't know if it's the red light or the fish oil or whatever I changed. But I'm happy! |
