I always get white deoderant marks on my tops.
Even if I put the deoderant on after I get dressed, I always have that white stain on my shirts. Anyone out there have advice on how to avoid this pesky problem?! |

I use virgin coconut oil instead of deoderant. It soaks in quickly, doesn't leave an oily residue on my clothes, smells wonderful, moisturizes my skin and helps keep away odor. |

I use Head&Shoulders shampoo instead of body wash/deo and the zinc pyrithione kills the odor-causing microbes. No more white powder marks on my blacks! |

Try a mineral salt/stone for a deodorant. It's natural, kills the odor causing bacteria immediately upon application and goes on clear, leaving no residue at all. On the downside - it does NOT stop perspiration-if that's an issue for you.
You can find these at natural food stores, like Trader Joes or Whole Foods, or even Walgreens (didn't realize that until I saw the ad on the link below)
Here's one brand:

Darker colors often have stiffness or residue on the fabric under the arms. To remove the build-up and freshen the garments, fill the washing machine with cool water and add one cup of white vinegar. Allow shirts to soak for at least 30 minutes. Drain vinegar water and wash as usual in cool water and your regular detergent.

I clean a lot with just Vinegar and or a combo of Vinegar and Baking Soda. |
