Hi, I am new here. I tried using the search function but wasn't able to find what I was looking for. I am 39 and have very sensitive, reactive skin. Generally I can keep it in pretty good condition but I would really like to do something about the not so fine lines developing under my eyes. I have tried Dermalogica lip and eye treatment and developed milia, Este Lauder oil and developed milia, and a few things I can recall but of course developed milia. Any hope out there to correct these signs of aging for sensitive skin?
Thanks, Lynne |

Hi lynnieg123,
I have exactly the same problem with my eyes. They don't like "natural" oils or Vaseline like products.
You basically just have to find your type of cream.
I can recommend trying Lancome products. Right now i am using their new Youth Activating eye cream and it works wonders on me.
I also like their Bienfait formula. It is relatively cheap ($45 for almost 2oz. Day cream with SPF 30 !) and it doesn't contradict with my
Poreless/Flawless Tinted Primer i put on top.
From cheaper solutions you may try L'Oreal. By the way, drugstore.com is having 30% of all L'Oreal products today.
Have fun shopping |

Hello lynnieg123 I think the creams that you are using are too heavy for you, so stop using these.
Here are some suggestions:
-Wash your face 2x a day (AM, PM) to remove dirt/make-up from your skin,
-Invest in a gentle mild natural loofah and use this to scrub your face with your favorite foaming cleanser. Maybe 3x a week to remove dead skin cells and renew your skin,
-use honey mix with jojoba oil (ratio- 3:1) and apply to affected area everyday for 20-25 mins before bedtime (enjoy some soothing music while you are doing this so it is not too boring for you),
-go to sauna to remove toxins from your body, (bring a bottle of cold water while you are there and drink it),
-(optional) Invest in extraction tools to physically remove (big) milia without damaging your skin.
DRINK PLENTY OF WATER EVERYDAY...
FYI, my mom has a lot of milia on her eyes and I've used the above treatment on her. Now her milia are not as prominent as they used to be, but have diminished over time. They are not completely gone but they are not so prominent. I hope this helps and good luck in your search to beautiful skin! |
