Hey guys! I'm 23 and I have combination skin, slightly oily t zone and dry cheeks. I dont have overly sensitive skin, but i did tryhis month ocm and a facial oil earlier this year and after a few weeks I had a serious chin outbreak, that took months to clear up. I have since returned to normal, but there are some under the skin black heads in that area still. I have a clarisonic now and also will be in boston for a week at the end of this month and i am looking for recommendations for anti ageing, dryness around eyes, and fading pigmentation in the form of acne marks and freckles.
PLEASE HELP!

Ask them for a sample of GLamGlow. It is my new holy grail that I use twice a week.
I am in love! Everyone keeps telling me that my skin has a glow and looks radiant. Even the hubby mentions it several times a week, and he is used to me trying all sorts of things!

I have sensitive, dry and partially oily/flaky skin and it has changed my skin for the better!

Thanks so much for your recommendation. I'm going to head in later to ask about it!! Does anybody have a recommendation for a vitamin c serum, eye cream and peel/mask from there? I suppose my current concern is in relation to anti ageing, as I am 23, but I would also like to reduce sun damage and dry skin as my skin is combination dry with occasionally sensitive reactions, if that makes sense. :)

Sephora wouldn't be my place of choice for skincare. Makeup yes. But then I've been on EDS for too long. Laughing

Daler - I so agree. I buy lots from Sephora and love my big samples and the three small samples. I also think the mask that Annie posted looks real good. Thanks for making me want that Annie Laughing

Hi,
I totally agree with the poster who said to use Sephora primarily for makeup. You'd be better off with a DIY C Serum, which is much easier and cheaper to make than you think. Recipes for a CE Ferulic serum abound. You can buy nice C serums from Skinceuticals or Cosmetic Skin Solutions, or find someone who actually makes the same recipe as the "homemade " one at places like Butterfly Kisses blog-- I find many skin companies include lots of stuff you don't need in their C serums. For your blackheads try a 2% BHA (beta hydroxy,) such as a toner or serum. BHA is better than AHA because it can penetrate into the pores.

Are you using any sunscreen now? I highly recommend one to prevent further freckles and pigmentation.

AHA and vitamin C products can help fade acne marks. AHA at night only. Vitamin C can be applied under sunscreen.

There is a lot of information on this forum. While I like Sephora; keep in mind the sales assistants usually are not very knowledgeable. They are good about giving samples.

Sephora is also good for the free birthday gift Smile

I refuse to shop at Sephora because they would not let me use my credit card that has a US billing address to send a gift to my mother in the US.

Also no bonuses in the Canadian store or site and the local store here is very lame.
I actually bought a nail polish a few weeks ago and forgot to ask about samples you get at the cash and none were offered.
So lame...

But it is nice to see products in person, so kind of good for that I guess...
