My regular bra size runs from a 42-44 C or D (yes, I carry my weight in my chest)....
I am having trouble finding a supportive sports bra that fits well.
If they are big enough, they are not supportive enough, if they are supportive, they tend to feel really tight on me (smushed, compressed breasts!)
Any suggestions>? Thanks, BFG |

I have not tried the ones recommended on this site, all sports bras I have tried smash me! But there are some large busted women who recommend some brands.

I bought an Enell corset type bra for my daughter when she moved to the US around 15 years ago. She outgrew the bra because she ate like her husband's family. So she sent it to me and I've been using it ever since. It's VERY long lasting. Very clear and exact instructions were given on how to choose the size. |

As a 34G I've done a lot of bra shopping, and can sympathize on the sports bra front! No store seems to carry anything but smaller sizes. You didn't say what level of impact you need. I agree w/the Enell suggestion if you are running or some other heavy bounce type of activity, but it's pretty industrial and will be tight. Have you looked at the Bare Necessities website? I have no connection to them except having had a good shopping experience there. A quick search shows 24 sports bras that come in your size. The Anita 5527 is highly rated and looks like a sport top. I can vouch for the high quality of both the Elomi brand and Goddess. I have a regular Elomi that I really like that gives very good shape/comfort/support. Both Champion sport tops and Moving Comfort ones are cut too low on the sides imo (side boob), and Champion always blows out at the hooks for me. Good luck! |
