I have stretch marks on my stomach from pregnancy and I wanted to know if it is possible to completely get rid of them - not just fade them? |

nothing will give you 100% improvement. Nothing. The only thing you will see extreme results from is a surgical procedure called tummy tuck which the surgeon will cut away loose excess skin from your tummy area and stitch you back together. Due to cutting away excess skin, you will be taking away skin that has stretch marks on it. |

I've heard that laser surgery might help. |

Yes there is now that FDA approved laser out (The Lux 1540) which does seem to produce good results but the companies which are offering it's services are very careful not to say that it gets rid of the marks completely.
I have about 4 white stretch marks underneath my bellybutton and a really weird one which was caused by my navel piercing. It runs for about a cm above it and when I pull my tummy in it does not look very pretty as there is a little excess skin. I would not be overly bothered about these things but I am a belly dancer so they seem to matter a little more...
They are not bad enough to constitute a tummy tuck but if the laser got rid of them I would definitely go for it. The other thing is dermarolling but I don't understand how to do it (so much mixed info out there about the right lengths and lotions etc.) and getting it done professional is pretty pricey for just a few sessions. Not even sure if a few sessions of derma rolling would do anything at all... |
