Hello All,
I am suffering from a bad case of eczema in the folds of my body and the back of neck. I have very dry skin and suffer from Keratosis Pilaris on my thighs. It is so embarassing.
Can anyone recommend a good moisturizer, treatment, soap that might help?
I am currently using neem soap with a moisturizer by Alba Botanical called "very emollient"
Thank you in advance for your help! |

An AHA lotion might be helpful for the KP. I'm thinking glytone and amlactin.
Eminence Organics also makes some good body lotions. Their coconut firming lotion and their stone crop lotion seem good.
I haven't tried any of these products myself. |

Welcome! There have been several recent threads on both eczema and on keratosis pilaris where dietary and skincare approaches were discussed, it would be worth running a couple of searches. Do post back if you have any questions or issues arising from that. In general, avoid all cleansers containing harsh surfactants such as traditional alkaline soaps, sulphates and other anionic surfactants. Moisturise with products containing waxes and saturated fatty aids (not most plant oils). Look to eat an anti-inflammatory, low glycaemic index diet with plenty of oily fish. |

I read good reviews about Dermadoctor KP duty which is sold by Sephora. I am still hesitant to order it though because it's 48$ for 4 oz... Has anyone here tried it ? |
