Hello everyone,
I'd like to ask you the following: recently I started an exercise to prevent droopy eyelids. My research on the subject pointed in the direction of moves where the area above the eyes - above the crease, under the eyebrows- is softly pushed up and a bit aside, while you try to push it down with your forehead muscles. By doing that, you're actually making a wrinkle in your forehead - during the push.
Afterwards, I counter that move with the forehead pinching described in Chizu Saeki's book, to 'neutralize' the wrinkle.
I am wondering whether this is a good strategy - Chizu's book doesn't offer advice on droopy eyelid-prevention (or treatment) and I'm not sure whether I want to engage in another complete program, like 'Ageless...".
Can anyone shed a light on this?
Thanks in advance! |

Ok that is an exercise from Facial Magic and one of my favourites, but here is a secret that I learned and when I do that exercise I still do it to this day without any wrinkles on my forehead. If you slide a piece of surgical tape on the area that creases before you do the exercise and then do the eyebrow push up, it will prevent the wrinkle remaining so. Another thing is that is designed to lift your brows but not do anything for the eyes. Now with droop eyelid, I would instead do something like the Eva Fraser sample exercise on her website: http://www.evafraser.com/facial_fitness.html
That should work nicely for you I bet! |

Thank you TheresaMary!!!
The one from Eva Fraser looks more suitable for droopy eyelid than the other exercise indeed.
Will start today!
Thanks again! |
