Hi
Can anyone recommend one? I tried the oil cleansers but didn't like them at all - don't want anything too expensive... many thanks. |

CeraVe is considered gentle but effective. One of the worst things you can do is over-cleanse, over-exfoliate because this can encourage the skin to overproduce sebum. |

Hello Friends.....
when you wake up you can just splash some water on your face and moisturize with regular face lotion, try not to touch face with dirty oily hands , when going to bed make sure to get all makeup off with regular make up remover.
Thanks |

I think CeraVe might be a tad too moisturizing for very oily skin. You can try Paula's Choice skin balancing cleanser or Clean and Clear foaming cleanser for sensitive skin. They are geared towards oily skin but also don't strip it down to the point of irritation |

There are two CeraVe cleansers, a foaming and a lotion. Both the products you suggest include sulphate surfactants in the formula which are known irritants down to 1-2%. Adding humectants or emollients or combining with other surfactants may disguise the drying effect but it does not necessarily prevent the underlying irritation. |

I use a cleansing milk from Decléor and I don't think it contains sulphates; I just checked the ingredients list on their Web site and it's not there. It's a product for all skin types and I combine it with a toner for combination skin. It works well for me removing excess sebum and not dehydrating my skin nor irritating it. |

FireFox,
What cleansers do you recommend? What do you think are some of the best cleansers on the market? |
