Hello. I have been reading the posts here and also saw the results from Miss Tina's tca peels. Simply amazing. I can only hope I have great results like she posted. I did my third 8% tca peel two weeks ago, with three layers. The first time, one layer, nothing. Second time, two layers, not much irritation, and by 4th to 5th day, some peeling. Same with the third peel with three layers. Slightly more peeling than before. I am gradually working my way up with the 8% to five layers. I got my 8% tca from MUAC and want to follow pre- and post- care very carefully. I've done 50% glycolic peels and 22% mandelic peels before but with no peeling whatsoever. I use retinol creams (from Vichy) at night (not while doing peels) and C in the mornings (the new C serum/powder combination from Skin Actives - love it). I have recently purchased a new LED/ultrasonic device from Truth in Aging site and am anxious to use it as have been reading lots about both. I have read where some people use the LED light post-peel to help with healing. I was going to wait to do another peel so I could try out my new device but can I do my next peel and then use the LED light afterwards? BTW, I have not had any frosting whatsoever on any of my previous three tca peels. I am looking for my skin to have a fresher look to it, with more radiance, and hopefully, some firming. So, LED light with next peel or wait? TIA for any suggestions. |
