I've heard that 100% organic cotton, bamboo or egyptian cotton wash cloths can do a better job than the clarisonic and they are less harsh on the skin is that true? How can wash cloths make a good job as the clarisonic?

IMO depends on user technique, skin type, routine and lifestyle. Not everyone needs the intensive cleaning that Clarisonic claims, for some it may be overcleansing. |

Agree with firefox here, and for some the clarisonic is way too heavy handed. I love a guy on youtube Makeup Artist who did a video a little while back about this, and he had a disaster when he bought a replacement head for his brush and it was a sensitive one and it really messed up his skin. |

I like Gossmakeupartist's videos. Sounds to me like he destroyed his skin's barrier function which is exactly why I tell people not to over-exfoliate or over-cleanse when using any acids (L-AA, Retin-A, peels) or aggressive systems like Obagi. |
