I bought a $50 Groupon for Philosophy products (before stumbling upon EDS and learning I don't absolutely need their expensive products).
Can any of you recommend anything?

Here's what I would like to address:
- Combination skin
- Black Heads
- Skin firmness
- Dark circles (already using NIA24 eye cream though)
- Fine under eye lines (already using MLab eye cream though)
- General anti-aging (already using Vit C serum, AHA, Glycolic foam wash, acne products, Aveeno Naturals SPF Day cream/ Night cream, no retinol yet though).

I know I can improve my skin care routine by replacing some of the products I'm currently using, but I figured I would finish them first, since my skin is finally in maintenance mode (no breakouts in 2 weeks, fingers crossed Pray )

Here is what I am considering from Philosophy:
- Purity Made Simple (Facial Cleanser)
http://www.philosophy.com/skincare-cleansers/purity-made-simple-product
- When Hope is Not Enough Firming Facial serum
http://www.philosophy.com/skincare-drynessanddehydration/when-hope-is-not-enough-serum-product
- Miracle Worker Anti-Aging Trial Kit
http://www.philosophy.com/skincare-antiaging/miracle-worker-trial-kit-2010-product
- Miracle Worker miraculous anti-aging antioxidant pads 60 ct. and spf 55 miraculous anti-aging fluid
http://www.philosophy.com/skincare-antiaging/miracle-worker-am-spf-duo-product
-Help Me Retinol Night Treatment
http://www.philosophy.com/skincare-antiaging/help-me-product
- The Microdelivery micro-massage exfoliating wash
http://www.philosophy.com/skincare-antiaging/microdelivery-exfoliating-wash-product

Do any of you have positive experiences with these products? I would appreciate your suggestions.

Thank you!

Out of thing you've listed, I only tried "When Hope is Not Enough" serum. Personally, I wasn't impressed. It's a nice serum, absorbs quickly, but I can't tell I saw some visible improvements.
Maybe it improved skin texture a bit, but that's about it.

On the other hand I really like their C Powder that you mix with your moisturizer. It lightens up my complexion and gives me a bit of that glowy look Smile. I can't comment on its anti-aging benefits, but since I always manage to mess something up when I try DIY C serum (although I'm not giving up yet Smile), I find this one as a great alternative.

No experience, am commenting on ingredients only since you helpfully linked to them.

Microdelivery: main surfactant is non-ionic so gentle IF the overall product has an appropriate pH. Diatomaceous earth scrubs like a clay, very fine particles, fairly gentle but effective IME.

Help me: how much retinol? The cholesterol/ lanosterol is a key component of the stratus corneum and lanolin, particularly beneficial to those with dry skin or menopausal females. I get visible plumping from a single application of products containing lanolin so this could well explain the clinical results.

Miracle Worker pads: ridiculous number of ingredients, IMO paying for the 'convenient' portions. Jam packed with silicones (-cone, -conol, -xane) and chemical suncreens. Shock

Miracle Worker kit: Again full of silicones and too many ingredients. I believe ascorbyl glucoside is backed by science - DragoN and Fawnie both formulate with this, would be able to tell you more than I. Will be less than 5% in there because below glycerin in the list.

Hope is not Enough: a single peptide which might or might not do something. Meh.

Purity Made Simple: sodium trideceth sulphate, expensive way to thin your skin barrier and contribute to dehydrate. Don't care how little is in there, the sulphate family are known irritants as low as 1-2%.

From a very quick skim Microdelivery and Help Me would be the only two I would put on my skin. HTH! Smile

I got a gift of a sample kit ages ago and honestly was not impressed with the Philosophy Line at all!

I have tried their entire line and I really like the Purity Made Simple cleanser and the Vitamin C powder. You can mix the powder with any moisturizer. The Hope is Not Enough Serum is just o.k. Nothing special.

I gave the purity to my daughter since I was already using OCM so I want to note that. Smile

Thank you all for your replies.
I was hoping the Purity Made Simple would be a solution for my black heads, but after reading FireFox's reply, I'm not so sure anymore. Maybe I'll go with a microfiber cloth and a natural cleanser instead.
I am not limited to the products I listed, so thank you for the Vit C powder suggestions.
I've never tried any Philosophy products, so it can be overwhelming browsing through their catalog. I might have to go with a fragrance product instead of skin care...
