Hi starbright,
what a coincidence, I just bumped a thread on activeformulas.com (uk supplies) that darkmoon had started. Apparently its a sister company of skinactives which seems to have a good reputation. Very pleased we finally have a diy store in the uk! |

Thank you for this. I will have a look now and see what I can spend my money on. I am so fed up with otc products not doing what it says on the tin that I thought I would try and make my own. I am interested in anti aging and hydrating serums/creams. Hopefully they will have the ingredients we need. |

I am so glad you could get a reply from someone in the UK. I am US based so haven't purchased from the site, I just knew there was frustration finding suppliers in the UK. |

I am now raring to go and just have a question for one of you lovely people. I am going to make the C serum, but also want to make a day cream and was wondering if I can add the following ingredients to one cream, or do I need to make different things to house the ingredients I want to use.
Matrix peptide
Argireline
Hyalluronic acid
Niacinamide
SKB
On Uk site they have a sea kelp ultramarine cream 2oz. Would this be as good as SKB and could I use it as a base.
Thank you |

I ordered from active extracts and the products were delivered yesterday. They seem much like stuff i have ordered from bulk actives before - so im happy
I have been stung by the customs fee a couple of times before so its good to have a competitive supplier in the uk at last. |

Thank you for the link, jedder, I ordered some items from them but have not received them yet (I live in Belgium).
They have good prices compared to active formulas (but less choice). |

Ive ordered quite a few things from this site, and you get your order fast.
I think their stuff is lovely and I am still working my way through most of their actives, its like being your own home chemist!
Although i am definitely a novice I would like to grow up to being a Kassy |

Myprotein in the UK is a good source for DMAE and amino acids. They also sell cheap vitamin C powder but I'm not sure whether its LAA or just AA. Eg, 100g of DMAE Bitartrate is £3.99
They are a very reputable seller of supplements, been using them a lot for my weight training stuff. |

Propylene Glycol available from mistralni along with other less natural ingredients!
I'm too new to put links - just google them. |

Thanks for the links.
I personally try to source my ingredients from the specialist diy skin stores.
I have bought things from sports supplement stores before and been dissapointed in some instances. |
