Hi ALL, I am just using Skin Ceuticals for few days already. It seems that other Skin Ceuticals are very good. Anyone here has been using it and have good result? I think it's cheaper to purchase online rather than from a cosmetic retail shop. Could you please advise from where i can buy it with reasonable price. Is it really saft to purchase online? |

Hi ichbeanie - I've always been safe at EDS - never any problems, security or otherwise...I recently got a sample of the Skinceuticals serum C 15 from them and loved it so much I order the Skinceuticals serum C 20! The line is available here on EDS...Enjoy!

Hi Ichbeanie!
I use a few of the SkinCeuticals products. I have been using the C+AHA Serum (along with the B5 Hydrating Gel) for 2 months and now starting to see a difference. My breakouts have finally started clearing up. Also, I just added into my skincare regimen the SkinCeuticals Simply Clean Cleanser and SkinCeuticals Equalizing Toner, as well as the SkinCeuticals Retinol 0.5%.
EDS carries the SkinCeuticals line. I found the prices on SkinCeuticals is standard at all the suppliers that I have searched on the internet. I see that EDS sells a "2 Item Value Pack" which contains the C Serum and the B5 Hydrating Gel together which can save you about $20.
Hope this helps! |

How are you liking the cleanser? I need a new one and was looking at the simply clean.. I've used dermalogica, cleansers before alone with many others I like the fact that this has 1% AHA. thank you |

Hi Skinprofusion!
I am really liking the cleanser, my skin feels much cleaner, as opposed to the Proactiv Cleanser (which is more of a white lotion with grains) which I was using previously and didn't seem to take off all the makeup and residue at the end of the day. SC Simply Clean Cleanser is a gel that foams when cleansing. Then I follow up with the SC Equalizing Toner, I find very little makeup residue on the cotton pad (Proactiv Cleanser didn't seem to take off much of the debris). Both the SC products contain AHA, Cleanser 1% and Toner 2%. |

My skin seems to love Skinceuticals.
I'm combination slightly oily but dehydrated with acne.
I started the daily moisture in january. Early february I started the serum 10 because of all the good stuff I hear about vit c. At this time I also started the B5 gel because I'd read that vit c can be drying. Late february I added the eye renewal gel daily and retinol .5% once per week. Last week I started the foaming cleanser, the clarifying mask (bit too drying, but will be good for hormonal breakouts), and the intensive line defense (GWP - plan to use once or twice a week to help with congested skin).
My skin is acting more like normal skin now. I don't get oily mid-day anymore and I haven't had a serious breakout since the purge I experienced when I added the retinol. I'm still getting the occassional blackhead popping up but they're easy to pop out. My pores do appear a bit smaller..and the frown lines more relaxed (probably b/c I'm not as dehydrated and the eye renewal gel)
Anyways, I love this stuff...but remember that what works for one person doesn't always work for another. I suggest trying one or two items and if you like it slowly add in more.
The only other thing I did differently in the past couple months besides the skinceuticals is I changed my shampoo... |

I find it thick compared to other moisturizers like darphin regularing fluid and Decleor hydra-matt and hydra floral...but it feels light on the skin...and sinks ir really quick.
For smell, it's nothing special, it's so faint you only notice it if you put your face in the jar. Totally matte on me. It's not super moisturizing so you may need the B5 gel too, depending how oily you are. I think it does make my pores less noticeable... |

Hi Lianne!
Are you using the SC Retinol 0.5 every night or every other night? I ask because I think the Retinol is causing breakouts. The nights I use it, the next morning I usually have breakouts. |

mystypines,
I am VERY sensitive so I'm only using it once a week. I tried twice last week and got some peeling patches. When I first started the retinol I did it twice a week and I got some serious breakouts and drying...after I got a nice glow.
When I do use the retinol I'll usually have one or two zits come up with a nice white head that go away as soon as I pop it... |

Lianne,
That is exactly what is happening to me. Normally, it takes my pimples a while to get to that stage. My face will be fine, and then I put the retinol on at night, and the next morning there is a huge fully ripe pimple. Never had pimples do that before. |

I haven't had that from products before either. I don't mind it though because when they're that easy to pop they usually disappear within an hour or so...
I wonder if it's from the silicones in the retinol. |

Or is it bringing the pimples that are already there under the skin so quickly to the top? I don't know. |

I think it's ones that are under the surface are coming up.
It takes zits more than 1 day to develop..so that must be it. |
