How Do You Style 2nd Day Hair?

I wash my hair every other day. The first day looks great, but the 2nd day looks flat and a little boring. So, I am trying to come up with some new ways to style my 2nd day hair.

I am wondering what everyone else does with their hair on the days they do not wash. Anything special? What products do you use? What type of hair do you have? Give details! Very Happy

Cornstarch is the answer! Basically, it's dry shampoo but you don't need to pay a lot, just buy a box of cornstarch. It actually works best if you work it in you hair (mostly scalp) before you go to bed. By morning, it'll be rubbed in and any excess left on your pillow and the hair will be clean and bouncy. Changed my life! Before this, I would either have to wash my hair that day or be resigned to it not looking its best.

I don't like applying it in the morning, it's hard not winding up looking grey, but if you do it an night it's hard to mess it up.

I was thinking the same. Cornstarch doesn't make the hairs look gray. After applying it to your hairs, they may feel silky n smooth but do they really look shinny and attractive as on first day? for the second day hairs, i usually tied a braid or pony tail

If I don't wash it everyday, its in a pony tail!!Sometimes even if I do wash it every day its in a pony tail Laughing

I have found cornstarch to be better than any dry shampoo I have tried.

Honestly in this heat and humidity my hair even looks *better* on a post constarch day. It doesn't take that long for clean hair to go limp in this heat Crying or Very sad
