| Has anyone been successful using this on the face? And how often do you use it? I'm guessing 14% lactic acid is probably too much for daily use? |

| My derm prescribed it for dry heels, but I have never tried it on my face. Hopefully someone has, I have a lot of it left! |

I've used it on my face before. I was also using Retin-A at the time, every 3 days. On the days I didnt use Retin-A I used Amlactin. It feels very sticky on the face though.  |

| I used this on my face last night and it was really moisturizing! I was worried about burning or peeling bc of the high % of lactic acid, but I think bc it has a higher ph (I tested it at about 5-5.5). I think I'll continue to use this a couple times a week and see how it goes. |

How often can you use this product on your skin?
I think that I read somewhere that you should only use it about 2-3 times a week. |

Looks like there are a few different names it goes by.
Amlactin
Generic Name: ammonium lactate topical (a MOE nee um LAK tate)
Brand Names: Amlactin, AmLactin Foot Cream Therapy, Amlactin XL, Kerasal AL, Lac-Hydrin, Lac-Hydrin 5, Laclotion

| I got a 14 oz. bottle of plain Ammonium Lactate 12% lotion on amazon, about half the price of Amlactin, for use on body. But I have also used it a few nights a week after cleansing my face, & so far so good. It does feel a bit sticky, but at night I don't mind. |
