Hello,
I need advise with a 30% TCA Peel that bruised my friends chin and one side of her cheek. I had the peel done myself at the same time and my results are good. I left if for no more than 30 seconds because it hurts the heck out of it. She left it for about 1 minute or less... but now she looks bruised. she is partially peeling after the 3rd day but we are concerned she can be hiperpigmented for ever. what can she do? She is using "only" natural aloe plant gel..from her garden... and zince oxide with vitamin 3 sunscreen... HELP!!! |

I don't think they are bruises. Dark patches of skin during the downtime process are normal with TCA. Did she research at all before doing this? 30% is a rather strong peel, especially if this is her first TCA.
In another day or 2 her skin should be fully into the peeling process. Probably about 10 days before her skin is back to normal. She just needs to keep her skin well moisturized so aloe isn't the best choice right now. When I did TCA is used a basic moisturizer and vaseline. |

She has had at least 4-5 peels before, but I don't know what she has had. I will ask. I feel less worried... thank you again!  |
