Hi
I have been using CACI facials for years now at local salon n UK but I am moving to Taiwan where I think it will be difficult to find a place that offers this. Is there an at home equivalent? I have heard of Cleo, Nuface, Ezzi lift etc, has anyone tried them? |

I think the dermawand also advertises itself as being on the same par as a caci machine but not owning one I cannot say if it is as good or no. I did watch a video about it once though. It seems to lift the face BUT the results are only very temporary. |

If it is similar to the Dermawand then this thread may be helpful:

There seems to be so many at home, hand held devices relating to non surgical facelift: which one to choose?
Whilst Dermawand is often mentioned it is much cheaper: do you get what you pay for? I can't find Nu face in UK are there any UK distributors.
Comments and advice please

I still have (and never use) a microcurrent/pulsing Rio Salon System unit (AC-powered) which has the cotton bud tips/+ and - electrodes. You have to move the buds "along the wrinkle" and back. Similar to CACI, though I'm not sure if it's as effective/powerful.
Bought it around 12 years ago! and it's so ancient I cant seem to find it on the net. Comes in a lilac/white case.
They do a unit similar to NuFace but no idea if it's any good: http://www.riobeauty.co.uk/60-second-face-toner-1.html
Interesting that they do an identical Pretika SonicDermabrasion though..maybe it's rebadged? http://www.riobeauty.co.uk/sonicleanse.html There's also a Tanda LED-alike and a Dermaroller on there.
I know the "Home Laser" hair removal units they sell got awful reviews, so best to research first.
I have a Dermawand and don't think it's similar to CACI at all. Personally I use the DW for zapping zits! |

I can see a few listings on Gumtree for the Rio machine, so might be worth giving it a try as a cheap option? |

I have a home shopping catalogue that has a couple of Rio products - not sure which one is best.

From reading the description on Amazon, this appears to be the up-to-date version of the Rio Salon System I have: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Rio-Facial-Rejuvenator-Wrinkle-Treatment/dp/B000R567UK
The prices on JD Williams are quite painful! I'd try ebay instead.
This shows you how to use it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b19Sa9__WLY
Here's some reviews: http://www.peak-nutrition.co.uk/rio_facial_rejuvenator.htm#product-reviews
Amazon.co.uk has a so-so review. |
