Hello EDSers...
Two toners I am trying to decide between. My skin is in pretty good shapre - going for prevention.
Has anyone used these? or can you critique the ingredients listing:

OSEA Sea Vitamin Boost
Aqua, Punica Granatum (Pomegranate) Extract*, Gigartina Skottsbergii Extract *, Wine Exract, Rubia Tinctorum (Madder) Root Extract, Montmorillonite (Trace Minerals), Allantoin, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C), Glycerin, Citric Acid, Potassium Sorbate, Lonicera Caprifolium (Honeysuckle) Flower Extract, Lonicera Japanica (Honeysuckle) Flower Extract. *Certified Organic Ingredient

Juara Tamarind Tea Hydrating Toner
Water, Pentylene Glycol, Tamarind Seed (Tamarindus Indica) Extract, White Tea, Green Tea, Black Tea (Camellia Sinensis) Extract, Rice (Oryza Sativa) Bran Extract, Honey Extract, Glycerin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Potassium Sorbate

any feedback, thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

What is the pH of each? What are you trying to achieve?

I am not sure of the pH? Where would I find that?

I really just want some good antioxidants... one has the vitamin C and the other green tea. So I am torn. I would probably use through out the day or at night before my moisturizer.

Thanks for asking,

I wish I had an answer erg, never used either but I would love to combine both ingredient lists and make a serum! Laughing

Citric acid or EDTA Chelator!!! Very Happy

Either on the manufacturers website or e-mail them. Why would you want to use a toner that you only swipe over the skin to supply antioxidants? Most will get wasted in the cotton wool pad. IMO it makes more sense to get therapeutic amounts of proven antioxidants in a serum or cream you are going to leave on. Toners are intended to cleanse any cleanser residues or 'reset' the pH after cleansing.

The skin doesn't need water added to it throughout the day, that can actually leach the skin's natural moisturising factors. The skin moisturises itself by topical application of lipids (in sebum) and, to a lesser extent, humectants (in sweat). Plus you risk dislodging your sunscreen.

Yea, I would either spray or splash on. I am too cheap to waste any on cotton pads! Smile
I really just wanted something that would be a nice addition before a moisturizer. A nice antioxidant drink for the skin, so to speak.

From what I read, Juara is more like a serum texture and the Osea is not claiming to be a toner (my mistake in using that word).

Any red flags in the ingredients that you see off the bat?

Nothing that I would be uncomfortable using myself erg! I like the ingredients I see!

I am not helping with a decision I know but I do like both! Laughing

Hello erg....I have tried the Juara Tamarind Tea Hydrating Toner and all I can say is that it's a decent toner, but nothing special. I didn't find it that hydrating, but I have very dry skin so it really takes some special products to work well for me where moisture and hydration are required. I used up the bottle of toner, but did not repurchase. If your skin is not too dry it just may be perfect for you.

You're welcome, erg. I never tried Osea, however it may be a better choice for you.
