"Soleve sunburn relief" - would this be any good to apply to overuse of retinol?
I accidently applied too much a couple of days ago and now my face is really burning and sore so any help would be appreciated.
"Soleve Sunburn Relief 200ml is a smooth, white lotion containing ibuprofen an anti-inflammatory painkiller, and isopropyl myristate, a moisturiser, to relieve the discomfort of sunburn". |

You might be wise to have a pharmacist assess how significant the irritation/ inflammation is. A mild corticosteroid (hydrocortisone) cream may be indicated. IMO use a good quality aloe vera gel - proven anti-inflammatory, wound healing and collagen inducing properties. Ibuprofen can reduce the inflammation but that is part of the healing cascade so it *may* delay healing. Read the ingredients on everything you apply including cleansers, be sure you are not using any known irritants. |
