Even when using an anti-wrinkle pillow like save my face, Vasseur or any other pillow out there in the market?
I'm a side sleeper and I'd like to know if this statmenet is true or not and what really happens with the skin.
Thank You! |

Side sleeping causes the dependent side of the face to become creased from the pressure of the head upon the skin and muscles. The opposite side of the face sags downward toward the nose, creating another NL line.
Back sleeping will really help you prevent creases if you can train yourself to do it. Takes practice, like anything else! Hard to break old habits, but with motivation of smooth face we can do it! |

It's being very frustrating attempt to sleep on the back! I guess my mind is being controlled by my body! Why should it be so hard??? |

I can not sleep on my back at all, so I just switch sides and all is fine by me! |

So switching sides will totally avoid face saggyness? If so, how often should one switch sides? |

I am/was a side sleeper but now i am able to sleep on my back, with some practice.. what really helped me was to have a pillow between my legs, lol...i don't know why but it helps me to sleep on my back... but I so so so love to sleep on my side! Side sleeping is heavenly for me but I have to keep on motivating me to sleep on my back! |

Yep mind over matter. Like daler, we each find what works for us. It takes will power like anything thats worthwhile.
Eh. Switching sides just ensures that both sides get evenly squished. Not the same as back sleeping.
FOr some reason sleeping on one of those cheapo air mattresses really helps me to sleep on my back! My butt sags down and my head stays up so its really comfy! |

I don't know if it is switching or just blessed genes, but I have managed to avoid sag for 58 years! |

So pillows like Save My Face that claims that their pillow will prevent wrinkles, improve breathing...is just a way to sell their pillow? So if it fights wrinkles it should fight gravity as well, or not? And why?
Thank You! |

Hi all, I am new to posting but I hv been reading this forum for several yrs. I am 46, look younger than my age( 30, early 30s)which I attribute largely to sleeping on my back since my early 20s and avoiding the sun. I do brisk walking, never jog or run. |

Maybe we all better walk on our hands and hang upside down all night so gravity does not attack us? |
