Which one is the best for skin, which one goes on matte on the skin without looking greasy or shiny, which one truly combat saggyness and wrinkles, which one is the best to use during the day?
I use Rosehip Oil at night and I'm looking for the best alternative for the day out of these 3 oil.
Thank You! |

The oils you mention are carriers not actives in and of themselves. AFAIK none have proven effects on ageing, oils are most effective as emollients or occlusives (skin softeners/ barriers). All oils are someone greasy or shiny, that is the nature of the beast because they are comprised of fatty acids. IMO it is far easier to spread a small amount and they absorb best if combined with a humectant, I mix with aloe vera gel in the hand with excellent results or you can make your own lotion/ cream. Most plant oils don't contain the fatty acids found in a healthy skin barrier or sebum, which makes sense since we are not closely related to the plant kingdom. However olive squalane is closely related to one of our natural lipids and IMO absorbs well, borage oil supplies GLA which may be deficient in some skin disorders. Hempseed oil is rich in linoleic and alpha-linolenic acid, macadamia oil is rich in oleic and palmitoleic acids, argan oil is rich in oleic and linoleic acids. Some studies have implicated oleic acid in irritation and abnormal keratinisation. HTH. ![Confused](images/smiles/confused.gif) |

I know you didn“t ask about this one, but Jojoba Oil.
I absoutley love it. I put it on whie my face is dripping wet, I massage it in and pat dry to remove excess. It leaves my skin feeing supple and smooth. Also, has helped me cure acne!!!
I have also used it in my hair on split ends, though I do not do it enough to see results. I have tried wheat germ, hemp oil, faxseed, olive oil, rose oil, etc. The only one I absoutley love is Jojoba oil. |

Hemp oil is one of the few oils with ceramides, which is supposedly good for skin. |

I love Seabuckthorn and Argan oil. I am out of the Seabuckthorn but haven't really missed it since I got in the Argan.
I mix a few drops in with my HA serums and it sinks in very nicely, not overly greasy or oily. I use it just at night though. |

I just bought 8oz. and have purchased from them for ages!
Here is the processing information, some things need heat to obtain the oils in the nuts, seeds ect. They use cold pressing on the Argan oil and clay to filter it! They are very eco friendly.
This oil is extracted from ripe fruit which has had the shell removed. The shell is actually used as a heating fuel. The fruit itself is cold expeller pressed and the remaining protein is fed to livestock. The oil continues through the processing and is bleached through clay, deodorized by steam and filtered to remove sediment. The oil is now ready for your cosmetics!

I use Mac-Nut Oil.
100% Australian pure and healthy. It's my understanding the Company makes nothing but Macadamia Nut Oil so it is not cross contaminated....which I like for cooking.
I use it when making my Vitamin C Serum from scratch and it absorbs very well with no greasy feel, but still the much wanted glowing effect.
RoseHip oil never absorbed into my skin so I was a greasy mess. AGH! Will not repurchase, however I have wild roses growing nearby so I may try my hand at making some from scratch.
Argan Oil was OK, nothing amazing for me. I fell into all the Hype (and used for a while) due to QVC and Josie Moran. Will not repurchase. |

Pinkie: rosehip oil is a seed oil, you could DIY rosehip syrup or a weak extract from the fruit but not the seed oil. |
