So I'm looking for a topical alternative to botox. I"m looking at peter thomas roth un-wrinkle turbo serum. It has Argireline at 5% (scientific name - Acetyl Hexapeptide-3). I wonder if there are other products with a higher percentage of Argireline?
If someone tried the Roth's serum and you see the results please share with me.
Thanks in advance! |

I have used Argireline in a few products but not on a daily basis, never had any ill effects but some say it will cause sag/droop with continued use. You might want to read this:

IIRC DrJ says peptides applied topically cannot get into the muscle, and if they could they would need to be licensed as a drug. The best option for a Botox alternative is probably the Safetox gadget

If you still want to go the peptide route you can purchase a more concentrated solution from places like Lotioncrafter, and make your own serum. Do consider the pH and partner ingredients because proteins don't play nicely with many other ingredients. |
