Hi friends
Scratching my head!
I have had an AALS for a year or two, not too long. I don't use it all the time, a couple of times a week, and I didnt use it for several months, so it does not have a lot of wear and tear. I have never had any issues with it with heat. It is warm to the touch, and nice, but never HOT like the oven.
Last night I used it, and it seemed like a different machince all together. It was very hot to the touch and stayed very hot. I had to turn it off as I felt it was unsafe at that level. If it started at that level, when I bought it, I would not be concerned, but this was about 10 times hotter than usual? Any thoughts?????
Thanks |

It sounds as if it either has a malfunction or was somehow damaged?
I would contact LightStim and see if they can resolve your issue skincarecat, my understanding is their CS is fantastic! |

Thanks Moon
I am not sure I saved receipts, I bought it well over a year ago I think, cant recall. I am fine if it is supposed to be that hot, but something tells me it is not. DARN SAD. Trying to get a routine going and sticking. Speaking of sticking, I am sticking with ultrasound...sticky spoon process, lol. So far so good I think!
thanks for reply.....

I save my email conformations on anything I buy online, any chance?
I would still attempt to contact them it can't hurt. I really don't think it should be "that hot".

Skincarecat, is there any new gadget or products that you are using that could be having an affect on your skin? Kind of like after you do a peel and you face can't take RA or Vit c even though it was fine before the peel. I think you mention your using Ultrasound. I don't know much about how that works but could that be a causing a problem with the LS. It does seem that there is big difference in the heat sensation so this might have nothing to do with it but I just thought I would throw it out there. |

Great question and thanks!
No I have not done anything different. No peels, no use of anything different before. I did have Cop Peptides on, but not a lot and they were watered down, and I have used that before. I will try it again tonight to see the heat factor. Thanks for the reply. Is is usually really hot and now maybe mine is just catching up?? lol......
