hi! i'm new to this site, and also a newbie when it comes to using organic/natural skin care. i have had terrible experiences for the past couple years with department and drugstore skin care brands and a few days ago, clogged pores and all, marched over to whole foods to try some natural skin care stuff. i have tried a few things here and there that ended up being not so natural, like kiehls, caudalie, nuxe. they say those are plant based but idk it seemed pretty chemical happy to me. anyway i have always heard of dr. hauschka and when a whole foods s/a recommended it over weleda i finally decided to try the oily skin care kit after years of hearing good and bad things about the mysterious dr. hauschka. i do not necessarily have oily skin but it is imbalanced and impure. so far i love it, but i'm guessing this stuff takes some time to work and i'm curious if anyone can tell me if i should expect a grace period before they really start to improve my skin and i also wanted to know how other people's skin dealt with the transition from lots of chemical products to more natural stuff. and of course any other whole foods beauty products that are awesome as well ![Wink](images/smiles/wink.gif) |

I like natural and organic products, but sometimes their expiry is too short! |

I really like natural products, as well, but I don't get obsessed with going for those brands that name themselves as "all natural", as I find they often have harmful ingredients (such as alcohol or parabens) still listed. I really like brands like Liz Earle, Alpha-H, Oromovicza, Decleor, Pai, Caudalie, and Dr Hauschka. |
