Hello all,

Could I mix Dr H brozer with a sun block instead of using a SPF foundation?

Forgive my igorance but is Dr H obviously a powder?? If so then I dont see why not. Beauty shows here in England recommend you can mix your Bare Escentuals foundation with a moisturiser if you want to so it should be the same. If its not good, well at least you will know and can move on.

I mix my Dr. H Bronzer with my shiseido suncreen all the time. I don't see any reason that you shouldn't.

Hello girls!

I am not sure but I thought that the Dr H bronzer comes in a liquid Wink

Whats the shiseido SPF like? would it be good for dry skin?

I'm really not sure...I've never tried it.

I stopped mixing products after a SA told me that if you mix foundation with moisturizer your skin will soak in the foundation and clog pores. I dunno if it's true, but it makes sense to me.

Aga,

I see no reason why you can't mix the Dr. H. with your sun block. Dr. H is a nice natural line. From what I have heard you only need a little bit of it. Can't see any harm being done. If it looks good and you like the results you get go for it. Very Happy

If it is a chemical sunblock, you could mix, but you will be diluting the SPF by half if you mix it half and half.

I mix my bronzer and sunscreen by the ounce. It is about one ounce of sunscreen to maybe one pump of bronzer. It is such a miniscule amount compared to the whole because it is so concentrated, I doubt if it has any noticable effect on the SPF of the sunscreen.

The Dr Hauschka Bronzing Concentrate is a liquid. You also really need only a little bit so I think the dilution of SPF would be neligible really.....

I have mixed it with Kosmea moisturising lotion before and that has an SPF of 30. No problems there!
