Hello Smile

I am still researching an eye cream Wink ( along with so many different products from EDS lol )

I was wondering if at 24 I should only get a moisturising cream or an anti wrinkle one, or both?

What are some of your favourites?

Have you got wrinkles at 24 Aga. Our resident beauty expert on QVC here in the UK would say not to get anti aging. If you are dry go for a good moisturing cream as opposed to a gel. Wouldnt like to recommend one in particular as Im always chopping and changing and havent really had one that Ive fallen in love with. Well, I did like one from Isomers in Canada which was an eye serum and I used their c serum in the day and E serum at night but I cant get it for love nor money. That was the only time in 5 years that I saw a difference. Still, I never give up. Popular buys here are Gatineau Melatogenine, Decleor eye Serum and Gale Hayman Eye Gel, but the market is so big. Some brands even have 3 or 4 eye products. How confusing is that. Good luck. I hope you find one to suit u. Im using Okusil at the moment. Early days yet.

Aga, it depends on your skin

Do you have
-wrinkles?
-dark circles?
-puffiness?

If not go for a hydrating cream like Babor Sensational Eyes Gel, or decleor hydra floral eye cream.

I'm 25 and use a wrinkle cream at night because of frown lines and creepiness. I use a regular gel type during the daytime for my circles.

I have to agree with the others and go with a moisturizing cream. Don't get anything heavier than you actually need are you may encourage milia.

wave On a side note, I have been lurking here for awhile and I have finally decided to post. This is such a great forum and I have learned so much!

Probably a moisturiser but if it has some nice antioxidants in it or other anti-aging properties then all the better. We really need to know more about what your eye area is like at the moment and what concerns you have.

Btw, SUNBLOCK is one of the best things you can do for your skin - that definitely includes the eye area.

Could be a fluke, but last night I tried sample vials of Cellex C Advanced C Serum & Skinceuticals B5 all around my eyes before bed and this morning they really look great! Today my undereyes look so bright so I didn't need a concealer or brightener. Also they look firm but dewy. Best of all no puffiness!!! OMG I am praying this is for real! I went to bed at 2am and got up at 6am so it's definately not because I was well rested. Could it possibly make that much difference in a few hours?

I had been using SkinMedica Vit C and loved it for my face, but never used it around my eyes because it's a cream which I can never seem to tolerate.

Everyone reckons we all need a vitamin c eye serum so why not start with that, and then build up if it doesnt give you 100%. Its tempting to splash out and buy lots and the most expensive but remember, you cant fix what's not broke. Good luck and keep us posted. Smile

I think the murad essential C would be good for you because it has the spf in it already!

Murad Essential-C is a great SPF eye cream! It's also moisturising but probably not enough if you have dry skin.

Also, it depends on you whether you want to use another eye cream at night or use the Murad one as well. Personally I have an aversion to using anything with SPF overnight when my skin doesn't need it - I like to give it a break from SPF so I have a different night eye cream.

Aga - Yes, the Babor one is very good and suitable for day or night. I'd probably go with vitamin C as well if you don't mind multiple steps Smile

So far this is what I ordered for the eyes:

JI circle/delete- I listed it here because this is supposed to treat dark circles Wink
CSRx Eye Bright
Babor Sensual Eyes
Murad essential C SPF15

So I only need to add Vit C and I'll be all set! YYYAAYY!
Any last recomendations?

By the way, thanks to everyone for posting and helping me decide what best products for my skin are!
