What are the differences?
Which one gives better results?
Which one is more apt for the skin and muscles?
Which muscles are worked with each technique?
Why Asians use more Facial Massages and Occidentals use Face Exercises? And which of those cultures show the best results?
Any examples of Face Exercises and Face Massages?
Thank You! |

I like doing both (Ageless for exercise and Tanaka for massage). For me, I feel the exercises help to strengthen the facial muscles making the face look more lifted. The massage, besides feeling great, has helped to slim my face and give it a softened appearance.
You can find the Tanaka massage on youtube.com. There are 4 parts, but the self massage part is on videos 2 and 3. |

I think for ultimate benefit its not one over the other but the pairing of both together that does the trick. I don’t think one gives better results than the other – because that would depend on what your goals were, and where you were starting off from. I think exercises work the muscles, but I think massage does the skin, so by doing both you will get both.
I’m not sure that tis true Asians use only massage and occidentals (??) use facial exercises. From what I’ve seen most of us use both. Which culture shows best results – depends what you think best is.
The trouble with both massage and exercises is that you need to keep doing them to sustain the results, and if you don’t then things revert back, so in essence both are temporary.
