I have small jewelry pieces that are in this little thing that has a hange and a bunch of pouches, but it's not working for me. What's a way I can store my jewelry and see everything? Any interesting methods/ideas. Please let me know. |

I use fishing tackle boxes.
I remove the lids. Fill the little compartments up, then spread the boxes out in a drawer, then stack the boxes into another layer. when necessary. If its a large jewelry piece, I simply use 2 or 3 compartments for the piece.
I also, use empty and cleaned large chocolate gift boxes (not the paper ones, but the plastic ones e.g. Godiva chocolates. The compartments in those are handy for some jewelry pieces as well. I like everything at fingertip efficiency, especially when I'm in a rush. |

I splurged and bought a jewelry Armoire and love it now I have a second that I got as a gift! It has small sections for earrings, slots for rings, drawers, hooks and a nice mirror in a lift up top! |

I have a pretty jewelry armoir too!
Then I watched one of those reality programs where people agree to have their house broken into to see where they failed in keeping their important items safe.
This guy walks into the bedroom and grabs the whole dang unit and walks out. I don't know why that never occured to me.
That show was a little mind blowing actually. Now my stuff is in an ugly box that gets locked away.
A drag! |

I know, I have the really expensive pieces in a safe deposit box (inherited jewelry).
I will have to reconsider once I move, but in this house I am in a gated community and have an alarm system so I live dangerously! |

LOL. Once I move and have a couple of nice big Rotties again maybe I won't need to worry! Those deep throated barks would scare the devil himself away! |

All of my jewelry is sterling or gold so I use jewelry boxes that have lining that keeps them from tarnishing. Coleen Lopez from HSN "prestige" boxes are what I use.
There are some great ideas given to you if your jewelry is what is called "costume". I can't wear this jewelry as I am allergic to nickel. I break out something awful with all this fun stuff and affordable. |

I have a built in wall to wall cabinet my son made me in my den. One of the units has doors. I banged in skinny nails on the inside of one door, and just "hang" chains, bracelets, rings and such in there. No more tangles.. |

I found this recently (& while it is definitely NOT secure - LOL) It is certainly cheap & very effective in locating your jewelry.
Here's the link: http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?SKU=18869390
Now I need to quit goofing off & get back to work! (and get on my Anteage review - ) |

That's a great idea - I have such a problem with tangling my chains. I've broken a few that way too... |

I have a jewelry box that is overflowing with jewels.
I wouldn't mind having a jewelry armoire, but I can only find it in black or brown. I prefer white with lots of drawers and glass doors so that they are displayed. |
