I've read that surgically removing the stretch marks is the most effective way to get rid of them. However I have yet to see any example of someone having this procedure done. All I see are before and after pictures of patients who have tried laser treatments.
In addition, I recently learned that doctors performed the first skin transplant on a third degree burn victim, so far they are not sure if its successful, they are waiting to see how the skin reacts to the transplant. I'm thinking this would be an ideal procedure for stretch marks. Wonder why there hasn't been as much investment in getting rid of them this way instead of inventing new lasers that clearly dont work |
