Hi guys, I need help, I have dark circles under my eyes and puffiness and nothing I have tried has helped. I'm getting discouraged . Does anyone know of a product that will help me? I also have very sensitive skin. I have tried products from Kinerase to Avon. |

Welcome! What products and techniques have you already tried? Have you tried Tanaka massage? Are you consistently meeting or exceeding all your government's recommendations for healthy eating and lifestyle? Are you managing your stress levels and getting plenty of sleep? |

I have tried so many products, even the homemade ones. Aloe, watermelon, cucumbers, tea bags. Nothing seems to help. I eat right, exercise and try to get a good nights sleep, which doesn't always happen. I have been stressed lately, but I've had this problem for the last 7 months.
I have never tried or heard of Tananka massage. I will have to look that one up.
I think I'll order some samples from NCN skincare.
Hopefully I can find something soon, for now I am just packing on the concealer, which is probably making it worse. Thanks Guys |

I can relate. A while back, I used everything under the sun it seemed; with no results. Its important to sleep on your back with your head elevated on a pillow. It may help to gently massage the eye area in a circular motion ( as if your drawing circles around your eyes) working inward toward your nose. This may push the fluid toward the tear duct where it can be absorbed. Be very gentle with eye skin. Its very delicate. Its a good idea to keep it moisturized as it has no oil glands. Hope this helps. |

Yep I know how you feel.
Whilst I haven't really tried much to get rid of them, I understand that because I'm young (19) they are most likely hereditary so there isn't much I can do.
I'd post a link to a picture of mine but I can't because I'm a new member |

I use a serum with haloxyl, as far as I know it is working for my dark circles. Here is the ingredients
Ingredients: Haloxyl, Soy Rice Peptides,Iris Extract, Horse Chestnut Extract (Escin), Centiella Asiatica Extarct, Hyaluronic Acid, Water, Rosewater, Cellulose, Isodecyl Neopentanoate, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Emulsifying Wax, Cetyl Esters Sodium Gluconolactone (and) sodium benzoate (natural preservative)
I want an eye cream with vitamin k in the future. I've heard that's good for dark circles. |

Yes. I'd like to add some vit K and chrysin to my current DIY under eye cream. I'll have to research both ingredients just to make sure it won't be too much. My bags have gotten better. |

Have you checked your vitamin B12 levels and your iron levels? Anemia can lead to severe bags under the eyes, and so can things like hypotension (blood pressure under 50)... Which is why every woman should stay away from Rogaine, which can cause severe hypotension. |

Face exercises helped me when I developed puffy eyes from a different exercise program: http://www.carolynsfacialfitness.com/nonie-eyes
Shanti was able to remove dark circles with face exercises. I believe by building muscles under the eyes, it made the skin less see-through so blood vessels were not showing through and also helped fill out the hollows that can appear dark due to being shadowed: http://www.carolynsfacialfitness.com/shanti
I also don't believe that hereditary eyes cannot be changed. Margarita had hereditary bags that were smoothed out with exercise: http://www.carolynsfacialfitness.com/margarita
On the topic of hereditary eyes changing, my family has hooded upper eyelids. I had those eyes too as you can see from the photos below. I no longer have them. The change happened over 10-15 of doing Eva Fraser's face exercise program. I didn't do it to change my eyes. I didn't mind them at all or know there was anything that needed fixing. I did Eva's program to maintain a youthful face. The change was so gradual that I didn't know it was happening. It was only years later when I saw on another website that face exercises can change hooded eyes that I wondered if they had done anything to my eyes and compared old photos with my eyes then and was blown away by the change:
My Dad's eyes:
My Mom's eyes:
My sister's eyes when she was twenty:
My eyes when I was twenty:
My eyes when I was two:
My eyes thanks to face exercises:

I take both B12 and iron. The bags aren't severe. In fact they are pretty mild. The main problem is that the skin is so thin. |
