Hello!

I'm starting my face exercise and massage journey today! Only problem is I'm not too sure which one to do first?

Face exercise then Tanaka massage? Or the other way round?

Please help!

Thanks Smile

Doesn't matter, just be sure to do both. Some like to do the massage first as in a warm up and some like to do it afters - there isn't any thinking as to whats better out there!

Depends on what facial exercise program are you doing.

Which one is it?

Ageless If you dare.

Unless anyone tells me differently I think I'll do the face exercise first then massage after.

I would think the massage would be beneficial to muscles after a workout?

Thanks!

Actually Loulou the author of 'Ageless If You Dare' is also on EDS. Who better to answer your question than her? .... Loulou?

I do Ageless and Tanaka, too. Since you need to pull your skin with Ageless, I do the exercises first for a good grip. If your skin is slippery from any oils or moisturizers from the Tanaka massage, this will make it more difficult to grab your skin. Plus, it is very relaxing to end the exercises with the massage, then to rinse of the oil (I use virgin coconut oil) and then apply my moisturizer.

Thanks for the replies.

I just did Ageless and I'm looking forward to the relaxing massage now.
