Hi all
I am presently living in France, and I am struggling to find a reasonably priced seller of vitamin c powder for some of the magic potions in the diy section. After reading on several French forums that viticulture sites were a good source i came across a site that sells L-ascorbic acid in powder form with E300 following that title. Being a viticulture site the description of the product says "strong antioxidant for rose and white wines also prevents ferric casse".
Is this the stuff i'm for. It appears to be though can't be sure. France needs a distributor for this sort of stuff like is available in the states. If anyone knows of an alternative i am all ears
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to your responses.
Regards

Hi Dan,
I would hesitate to use LAA meant for wine making, but that is just MHO.
Have you checked the UK suppliers list from the recipe index in the DIY section?
Here are two links that have UK sellers:

If you can find a UK supplier that carries the Ultrafine LAA, it is the best to get as it desolves better. Mine is not the ultra fine. I slightly warm the distilled H2O and it desolves fine. |
