I buy all of mine online and EDS(Vivier C Serum) - but if you want to get somewhere locally try a health store like WholeFoods or WildOats or other healthfood stores that carry the JASON brand. They're C Lite serum is pretty good and inexpensive and also available online. Like many have said before, vitamin C serums are tricky because of stability - so if you go with other brands or lower prices, this may be an issue.

I agree. It's really hard to find a good C in a drugstore. However, some "The Beauty Store"'s carry skinceuticals and Cellex-C. More expensive and not the best formulations but better than drugstore brands.

I'm also curious if a healthfood or drugstore brand serum would be effective. I looked into Avalon but am not convinced theirs is effective.

I couldn't fine C Lite from Jason's but I found this product and here's the ingredients listed.

"Hyper-C Serum, Jason, 1 fl oz

Ingredients: Octyl Palmitate, Complete C Complex (Ester-C Liquid, Calcium, Sodium and Zinc Ascorbates; Magnesium Ascorbyl Palmitate; Ascorbyl Phosphate, and Ascorbic Acid), Squalane (Vege), Purified Soft Water, Lecithin, Corn Starch, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Lupaline, Green Tea Extract, Grape Seed Extract, Polysorbate 20, Dextrine Palmitate, Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A), Cyclomethicone, Grapefruit Extract, Fragrance."

Thanks, Lianne! Why google didn't come up with the official Jason site is beyond me! I was searching for C Lite not C Light too.
