Does anyone know anything about mosquito bites?
About a month ago I woke up in the morning with my face itching a bit. I noticed a small red lump on my cheek. I thought it was another spot so just left it. Anyway, I noticed that the area around it went really hard and eventually started turning purple. I left it a few days and then tried squeezing it ( Embarassed ) although there was no 'head' on it.
Nothing really came out except for some watery, clear fluid.
I started putting tea tree oil on it and eventually it started to disappear. There isn't much of a scar there now (despite my squeezing and picking) as I was using Prolagene on it. I'm still a bit worried though as there is still a hard lump underneath it.
Is this a mosquito bite? Or some sort of weird cyst? I'm not usually prone to cysts so don't really know what to expect.
Any ideas?
If it is a mosquito bite, will this hard lump disappear?
I've never been bitten by a mosquito before so don't know anything about them.

Since it's a hard bump, it sounds like this could be a spider bite. I've been bitten by mosquitos too many times to count and the bump only lasts a few days (if I don't scratch it).

hmm Sounds like it could be a small cyst Toe. In October I had a lump on my face by my ear. It was very tiny but hard. I tried extracting myself. Each time I would drain it but it would come back. When I had a facial, my facialist, extracted it (forget what she called it). It took her some effort but it never came back. After she did the extraction she put high frequency on it.

Without seeing it it is hard to tell. Might be time to treat yourself to a facial. Very Happy A good facialist should be able to tell you what it is.

i'd guess spider too, but since it's still here I'm confused. I've never had a cyst turn purple on me
