I read this the other day too.
You know what really ticks me off! That your child can go into the nurse and opt in for an HPV VACCINE. And the nurse will give it to her or him, and never inform you. (not even if your child has any of the listed side effects that could negatively impact him/her for the balance of life)
But God forbid, someone stop your child from getting a crazy sunburn.
So how does this work now?
Need a doctor's note for sunscreen. And NO ADULT needs to give permission for an RX injection?

Mine are older I believe and all out of public school and after many, many years of dealing with the school systems in 3 different states I know they do not make any sense at all! |

Well, if that were me, I'd be pulling my kid out of any camp or activity that forbade my kid to wear sunscreen, hat etc. Honestly what has society come to? |
