emerginC makes a body lotion that claims to alleviate hyperpigmentation.
However, I don't see any lightening ingredients, such as arbutin, licorice, or kojic acid in it. I know that it has vitamin C, but I'm not sure if that's really an effective lightener.
From looking at the ingredient list, do you think that this product could live up to its claims, or are you skeptical? |

In my experience vitamin C does work as a lightener. It takes patience but it does fade your pigmentation. |

Do you know which forms the Vitamin C were in?
Maybe certain forms are more effective than others. |

I think all forms of Vitamin C can help. |

Maybe it's genetics because neither I nor any of my sisters have had success with using vitamin C-based products for hyperpigmentation. |
