I was wondering if anyone is still using it? I had used it from time to time to treat my sebaceous hyperplasia. It is the only thing that shrinks them and the money I have spent for lasering them off a the derm's office is a waste!
Does anyone have a recently used, honest website to order it from that does not require an RX?
I used a very lose dosage for a few days a week for several months and it shrunk them but now a few are coming back so I want to nip it. My new derm has never heard of this method to treat them since I have moved.
Thanks! |

As strong and dangerous as that medicine is, I would never buy it online or use without a doctor's ok.
Have you heard of PDT or photo dynamic therapy? A dr brushes a solution on your face and then goes over it with red LED lights and it destroys the oil glands. Maybe look into that? |

I agree with LauraLizzie.
Accutane is serious stuff.
Also, buying prescription drugs online is very risky. |

Thanks guys I do appreciate the warnings and concerns. I have had RX for it on and off for 30 years. I did the original Texas trial and studies back when it first came out & I do know the dangers, believe me. Maybe more than most but I won't go into that.
I probably should have have made that VERY clear in my post.
My last derm prescribed it along my blood test just a few years ago.
That all said, just didn't know if anyone had a current website to order from. I lost the contacts and old sources.
I have an appt. with my old derm when I can travel back in a month or so and I can get it from them. Just wondering in the meantime. |
